AME Course Details
AME is the person who certifies the aircraft then only it can take off. After successful completion of the AME course, students are eligible to work as Aircraft Engineers in various domestic & International private and Government airlines, mro organizations, etc. The AME has to keep an eye on the safety and security of the aircraft. All the mechanical parts such as the engine, airframe, landing gear, fuselage, etc. and avionics parts such as radar system, electrical system, Instrument system, radio, and navigation system, etc. are maintained by AME. AME has to properly check the condition airworthy of an aircraft before each flight. No approval from licensed AME, no flight can take off.
AME Course Eligibility Criteria
Following Eligibility should be fulfilled before taking admission in AME course:-
- Candidate appearing or passed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board.
- 3 years engineering diploma in any stream from recognized university/board or Approved from AICTE.
- Candidate must not have colour blindness and any physical disabilities.
- Passed any diploma course with a minimum 3 year duration.
- In diploma, you must have scored 45% marks (40% of marks for the reserved categories).
