The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) B1.1 Stream is a specialised aviation course focused on turbine engine (jet engine) aircraft the same kind used in commercial airlines and defence jets. Completing this stream qualifies you to inspect maintain repair troubleshoot, and certify mechanical systems engines and the airframe of jet-powered aircraft.
It is a license based program approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
