Upon finishing an Aeronautical Engineering degree in Assam, one can pursue several career paths in the aerospace and aviation industry. They can get a job in organizations such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and private aerospace firms such as Boeing, Airbus, and Tata Advanced Systems. Airline companies, aircraft maintenance providers, and airport administrations also hire aeronautical engineers to work in aircraft design, maintenance, and quality control. Assam's expanding aviation infrastructure, such as airports and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities, further adds to job opportunities within the state.
Further, graduates can avail higher studies such as M.Tech or specialized courses in avionics, propulsion, or aerodynamics to enhance career opportunities.
