The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) B2 Stream is a specialized aviation course focused on avionics the electrical communication navigation and electronic systems of aircraft. It trains students to inspect maintain troubleshoot and repair avionics systems as per safety norms and prepares them for a DGCA approved license which is recognized in India and internationally.
Before applying, you must meet the eligibility criteria:
Completed 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board OR a 3-year engineering diploma from an AICTE approved institution.
Minimum qualifying marks (usually around 45%) in your 10+2 or diploma.
Age typically between 16-28 years at admission.
Medically fit with no color blindness or other major physical disabilities.
To secure admission you usually need to appear for a common entrance test such as the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET). This national level exam assesses your knowledge in PCM subjects and aviation aptitude.
Visit the official AME CET / AMECET.in website to fill out the application form online.
Submit all required documents (mark sheets, identity proof, medical certificate).
Pay the application/registration fee and receive your admit card for the exam.
Appear for the AME CET on the scheduled date.
After the results are declared, participate in the counseling process. Seats in the AME B2 Stream will be allotted based on your rank, performance, and choice of college.
