A BSc in Visual Communication (VisCom) equips students with a broad range of creative and technical skills essential for modern media industries. Core competencies include graphic design, illustration, and branding, which aid in the development of strong visual products. Students also learn photography, videography, and animation to facilitate the production of dynamic multimedia projects so that they can create captivating digital content. On top of that, they learn how to use various software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, UI/UX, and motion graphics which allow them to create more stimulating designs on media.
Notably, storytelling and idea breaching approaches are taught throughout the course, enabling students to be versatile in how they articulate their concepts. They craft marketing and advertising campaigns that consider the psychology of their target markets and outside marketing brands. They also learn to proactively seek solutions to challenges through interdisciplinary projects during workshops and internships. Important emphasis is given to soft skills including communication, effective presentation, and managing time. All students are taught how to succeed in the competitive environment of business so that they can pursue careers in advertising, media production, corporate branding, web design, and digital content creation.
