BSc Biotechnology usually has two admission processes wherein either merit basis or entrance basis are followed on a college-level basis. While some colleges facilitate direct admission at the university based on the overall performance of students in 10+2 in a science-based stream, the applicants must necessarily satisfy the following eligibility criteria : They must attain at least an average percentage within 50% to 60% in respective high school boards. Some institutions hold their own entrance exams to gauge the candidate's grasp of the subject.
Online applications are then usually followed by entrance exams and subsequently, results which are considered in preparing the merit list.
