Ques: What are the subjects in BSc Physics?

With a considerable breadth of topics, BSc Physics is an all encompassing undergraduate course. Important topics of concern are Mechanics which deals with motion and forces, Thermodynamics which deals with the transformations of heat energy, and Electromagnetism which focuses on electric and magnetic fields. Optics is related to the nature and properties of light while the Modern Physics refers to subjects of relativity and quantum mechanics. Mathematics has a special importance for physicists in Mathematical Physics, which is the subject that uses mathematics to solve physical problems.

BSc Physics also includes the fundamentals of Solid State Physics and Fluid Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, and Classical Mechanics. Later years may also introduce more advanced topics, such as Statistical Mechanics and Astrophysics. The course enables the students to grasp theoretical concepts as well as gain hands-on experience through laboratory work and projects. These skills equip graduates to undertake further research, teaching, engineering, or other branches of physics and technology.
