In order to get admission into Aeronautical Training Institute (ATI) Lucknow, candidates need to complete their 10+2 education with 50% marks in PCM. The admission is taken on the basis of a merit list which is prepared by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) after the conduct of UP Polytechnic exam.
ATI Lucknow also offers a mechanical stream (aircraft maintenance) diploma course and three year diplomas in mechanical stream (helicopter and power plants) and avionics stream (electrical system, instrument system, and radio navigation system). All these courses have six semesters each and include theory and practical subjects. All concerned students will have to appear for the JEECUP and admission will be given on the basis of the merit list. Once the merit list is published, the candidate selects their preferred course and pays the fee, which is followed by a document submission during the counseling. The institute is equipped with laboratories, workshops, a library, conference hall, computer center, hostel, canteen, and sports facilities to cater for the students need in learning and recreation.
