If you have only a Private Pilot License (PPL) not a Commercial Pilot License your job opportunities are limited. But still you can find a few options in aviation.
Flying for personal/private use: PPL allows you to fly small private aircraft for recreation or personal use. That means you can enjoy flying as a hobby.
Work in flying clubs or small charter/aviation training centres: Some flying clubs or small charter services may offer roles where your PPL helps for instance helping with non commercial duties or assisting with training/operations.
Participate in charter flights (rarely): In certain limited cases, small charter or private flight operators might let PPL holders fly light aircraft but rules vary and paid commercial flying usually demands a CPL (Commercial Pilot License).
Thus, if you only hold a PPL you might get involved with general aviation flying clubs or non commercial/private flights.
You cannot fly for hire or salary: PPL does not allow you to earn money by flying. You are not eligible to work as a commercial pilot in airlines or cargo flights with just a PPL.
Limited scope and income: Since paid flying is not allowed with PPL, income opportunities are very limited. Full-time aviation careers (with good salaries) generally require a CPL or higher licence.
Few job openings: Because most airlines and charter companies require higher licences job openings for only PPL holders are few and far between.
Many aspiring pilots take PPL as a first step. It gives you basic flying skills and experience. Later you can upgrade to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or other advanced ratings. With CPL you become eligible for real pilot jobs. Also having a PPL shows your interest and dedication. It helps you understand if flying is really for you before spending large amounts on further training.
