The program for the Chartered Financial Analyst does not set any age limit to gain admission. It allows anyone meeting the educational and professional criteria set for any CFA program to pursue the CFA designation. Because of this flexibility, the program is appropriate for people of all age groups wishing to pursue advancement in their finance profession.
However, a candidate must be a bachelor's degree holder or in the final year of their undergraduate studies, or have relevant work experience combined with education to the degree level. The CFA Institute further requires that a candidate has an interest in finance and investment, and it's worth noting that the program is very demanding and requires a great deal of commitment. But surely there is no age limit. At the same time, the time and efforts needed to be successful in the program should be put into wise consideration by anybody considering pursuing the CFA certification.
