Aviation engineering, Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering combined, has some of the toughest institutes with a slew of entrance exams. Aviation engineering institutes at the IITs have a very popular exam in India, which is the JEE Advanced. JEE Main is a pre requisite for NITS and other reputed institutes. Apart from this, there's the CETs for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) and various private institutions like SRM, Manipal, UPES having their own entrance exams.
Other state level exams like KCET, MHT CET, and WBJEE are important too as these states offer boarding to some Aviation Engineering students. In other countries, students wishing to join aviation programs in the USA and Canada would require SAT, ACT, or GRE for post graduate studies. Other requirements might include interviews and academic performance. Specific school requirements must be checked by candidates to confirm eligibility for aviation engineering programs.
