In India, to be eligible to join an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course, an individual must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
  • Must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.
  • Must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
