Emergency procedures training includes simulated scenarios for various in-flight emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, decompression, and ditching (water landings). Cabin crew members learn how to assess and respond to these situations quickly and effectively, following established protocols and utilizing crew resource management principles to coordinate their actions and communicate with the flight deck and other crew members.
Additionally, cabin crew members receive training in first aid, CPR, and basic life support techniques to provide immediate medical assistance to passengers in need. Regular recurrent training and proficiency checks ensure that cabin crew members remain prepared and competent to handle safety-related duties and emergencies throughout their careers.
