IAME is approved by DGCA, ministry of civil Aviation, Govt. of India to impart ab-initio AME training in Mechanical & Avionics streams. To be a reputed and creditable institute, IAME aims to produce quality Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at a competitive level. We are having beautiful infrastructure and having all the important things which are required by the students to attain knowledge.
We are having 2 aircrafts which are as follows LearJet 24 and Zenith CH 2000 to provide practical classes to the students.
We are having well equipped labs and workshops to enhance the skill of the students and gain some new knowledge.
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is a licensed person vested with sole responsibility of maintenance of aircrafts, engines, instruments, accessories and issues the Certificate of Flight Release that declares aircraft is airworthy and safe to fly.
To be eligible for issuing aircraft certification, an engineer is required to possess a valid AME License issued by the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. DGCA controls all the matters related to safety of aircraft and also issuance of licenses to AME according to the requirements as stipulated in Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR).
AME course is having a 2 year academic programme which is pursued in the campus premises and other 2 year there will be practical training in flying environments such as airlines, MRO etc. The academic knowledge will be gathered in the DGCA, approved campus. The 2 years academic session will consist of 4 Semesters.

B1.1:- Students enrolled under AME Licence in category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) are trained to perform maintenance on Aircraft Structure and Gas Turbine Engines (Jet Engines).

Air India Engineering Services Limited is the CAR-145 approved maintenance organization located in India. It is owned by Air India Limited, a Government of India enterprise and operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft serving 84 domestic and international destinations. It has headquartered in New Delhi.
