School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (SAME) established in 2017 under InterGlobe Education Services is devoted to the education sector. As a world-class AME Training School, SAME is fully compliant with and has the necessary approval of DGCA to impart ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
SAME is positioned in the center of Education city, Greater Noida, Knowledge Park III, Delhi/NCR. Greater Noida is well connected to Delhi by Metro Rail (Aqua Line) and by road through direct expressway. The physical infrastructure at SAME consists of over 25,000 sq. ft. of covered area on the 4th Floor of InterGlobe’s premises at Knowledge Park III, Greater Noida, apart from the Aircraft Hangar which is located on the ground floor.
SAME will also arrange for guest faculty from industry to address and interact with students on a regular basis. Apart from the mandated course work, SAME will arrange for students to participate in training sessions covering personality development/communication skills, general knowledge and current affairs.
SAME has an in-built Aircraft Hangar which is spread over 6000 sq.ft. It accommodates Hawker HS 125-700 Aircraft.
All Classrooms are equipped with all necessary modern teaching aids like LCD & Overhead Projectors which can be attached with Internet Facility & LAN Support System.
The school has a modern library equipped with an e-library facility which is air-conditioned and covers an area over 1500 sq.ft.
SAME will be offering AME training in two Categories B 1.1 ( Aeroplane Turbine) and Category B2 (Avionics Category B1.1 in line with DGCA’s regulations as per CAR 147 Basic issue 1 dated 27 Dec. 2017.for which an approval under new CAR 147 BASIC has been sought.
Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine):- License holder to issue certificates for release to service following the maintenance performed on Aeroplane Structure, Turbine Engine, mechanical and electrical systems, work on avionics system requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability and not requiring troubleshooting, in respect of an aircraft type endorsed on the license.
Category B2 (Avionics):- License holder to issue certificates of release to service after maintenance on avionic and electrical systems,avionics and electrical systems within engine and mechanical systems requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability of aircraft type endorsed on the license.
SAME will be offering AME courses for both the categories of a two & half year duration consisting of five semesters, each semester of six months. During the 2 years academic session of approx 1440 hrs and total practical duration will be 960 hrs.

SAME does not offer hostel accommodation in its premises. However, there are several private hostels in Knowledge Park III which provide hostel accommodation and meals to students of the various Universities and Colleges located in the Knowledge Park III area.
