School of Aeronautical Sciences is a pioneering department thereby established in 1996 to provide quality technical education in the field of Aeronautics and thereby produce the maximum Aeronautical and Aerospace engineers in the country. The B.Tech programme offered by School of Aeronautical Sciences is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). A three-day National Workshop on “Advances in Aircraft Structural Design” was organized by the School of Aeronautical Sciences during 28-30 Aug 2019. The National Cadet Corps (Air wing) of our Institution, affiliated to the 1 (TN) Air Squadron NCC, Tambaram, is a part of the Personality Development Programme. The allotted strength for NCC is 50. Cadets (Boys and Girls) are enrolled into the NCC programme every year.
