Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology (HIET) was established in the urban center in 1966 in response to the requirement for non-formal technical education. HIET Aviation College has a well equipped training hangar, occupies 9000 Sq. ft area. It has all the features of an airline hangar.
Various aircraft such as Learjet 24D Aircraft, Dornier D0 228, Robinson R-22 helicopter, HT – 2 and Cessna 152 Aircraft are available on campus.
