AME
Approved by DGCA, Govt of India

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a program approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. An AME is responsible for airworthy condition of an aircraft. No aircraft can fly without its safety certification by an appropriately License holder AME. Thus an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer shoulders the responsibility of aircraft safety and maintenance to keep aircraft always airworthy.

To be eligible for issuing Flight Release Certificate (fit to fly), an engineer required to possess a valid AME License issued by the DGCA, Govt. of India.

AME Course Duration

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is tentatively 4 years license program in which candidate has to undergo tentatively 2 years regular academic program conducted by the DGCA Approved AME institutes and tentatively 2 years training in live maintenance environment. In the academic program, modules are conducted by DGCA.

After completion of modules and required experience with relevant approval course students will get AME License and based on AME License students can do job as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in government sector as well as private sector in India and worldwide.

AME Eligibility Criteria

To pursue AME course a candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

  • Candidate appearing or passed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board.
  • Candidate must have minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with PCM or equivalent.
  • Candidate appearing or passed 3 Years engineering Diploma (Polytechnic) from a recognized board.
  • Candidate must be physically fit with a medical certificate of not having colour blindness.

  • B2:- This license holder certifies for airworthiness and repair of electrical instruments, radar system, navigation system and communication system etc.

AME + B Sc Honours in AME
Approved by Sri Dev Suman Uttrakhand Vishwavidyalaya, Govt of Uttarakhand.

AME and B Sc (AME) are the integrated course in which the students can get AME license as well as B Sc (AME) degree. The AME course is approved from DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India and B Sc honours in is affiliated to SDSUV, Govt of Uttrakhand.

The students is eligible for posting Govt. and private organisation, Airlines, MRO and other posts where AME can apply. They can also pursue PG course in various course of management and technology.

AME + B Sc Honours Course Duration

Candidate has to undergo 3 years regular academic program for AME license as well as BSc (AME) degree and tentatively 2 years training in Live environment such as Airlines, MRO, etc. In the academic program students has to complete their module papers conducted by DGCA and semester exam by as SDSUV(state university of U.K)

After completion of modules, BSc (AME) exam, and required experience students will get AME license and BSc (AME) degree. Based on AME License students can do job as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in government sector as well as private sector worldwide.

AME + B Sc Honours Eligibility Criteria

To pursue AME course a candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

  • Candidate appearing or passed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board.
  • Candidate must have minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with PCM or equivalent.
  • Candidate appearing or passed 3 Years engineering Diploma (Polytechnic) from a recognized board.
  • Candidate must not have colour blindness with no physical disabilities.

Cabin Crew Course

Cabin crew is a certification course of 08 months. Basically they are the one who is responsible for the comfort of the passengers, welfare and safety of the passengers on board. They play an important role in airlines. These courses are skill based programs.

  • To pursue Cabin Crew course, the student must be appearing or passed 10+2 with any stream.
  • The minimum height for girls is 155cm and for boys 170cm.

BBA in Aviation

In the BBA Aviation course, students receive comprehensive knowledge of aviation management and are able to apply their knowledge to the problems that may arise in management. Business Mathematics, IATA Travel, Tourism, Business Statistics, Consumer Behavior, and Market Research, etc. are some of the common subjects in aviation management.

BBA in Aviation Course Duration

BBA Aviation covers topics such as airport security, passenger forecasting, etc. in a 4-year program. Students in a BBA Aviation program can explore a variety of subjects including marketing, accounting, and human resources, etc.

  • After 1 Year completion of course, a candidate got certificate.
  • After 2 year of completion of course, candidate got Diploma.
  • After 3 year of completion of course, a candidate got Graduation degree.
  • After 4th Year of completion of course a candidate got Graduation degree with Hons.
