
IndiGo Announces Many New Domestic Flights
India's leading airline, IndiGo, is on a strong growth trajectory with its ambitious expansion plan. The carrier is adding several new domestic connections and a fresh destination to its network. Starting from August 21st, IndiGo will launch direct flights between Indore and Rajkot, Indore and Surat, Rajkot and Udaipur, and Udaipur and Surat, connecting three Indian states – Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Additionally, IndiGo has unveiled its 79th domestic destination, Shivamogga in Karnataka, with non-stop daily flights between Bengaluru and Shimoga starting August 31st. This will be the sixth destination in Karnataka served by the airline, bolstering intra-state accessibility and offering connections to key domestic and international destinations through Bengaluru.
IndiGo's rapid expansion has resulted in several recent route announcements, both domestic and international. Many of its domestic flights are now exclusive to the airline, further solidifying its dominance in the Indian market. The carrier has also been responding to increasing travel demand by adding new routes to and from Pune, and it has exciting plans to expand its international network, including flights to Abu Dhabi from North Goa, Singapore from Hyderabad, Jakarta from Mumbai, Baku from Delhi, and Nairobi from Mumbai.
