
Akasa Air is another airline excited to increase its workforce. The airline has said it plans to hire almost 1,000 additional staff members by March 2024. If all goes according to plan, the airline’s employee count could touch 3,000 by that time.

India’s aviation regulator, the DGCA, also needs to increase its workforce to keep up with the grueling demand of monitoring the country’s expanding fleet. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the DGCA plans to hire 1,000 employees by the end of this decade.
