
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is the branch of engineering that involves the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting the issued faced in aircraft. AME is an international program regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. No aircraft can fly without its safety certification by an appropriately License holder AME. Thus an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer shoulders the responsibility of aircraft safety and the personnel onboard on behalf of Govt. of India.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a 4 years License program tentatively in which candidate has to undergo 2 years regular academic program conducted by the DGCA approved AME institutes and 2 years training in Airline or MRO Industries. In the academic program student has to complete their module papers conducted by DGCA.
