Established in 1995, The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institute of RG Aviation (a unit Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy) is a premier AME training Institute, approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, (DGCA) and India, dedicated itself in grooming a breed of efficient, knowledgeable and skilled engineering professionals to cater to the ever growing demand of Aviation sector.
The duration of the AME Course is 2 years, in which 4 semesters are included. Our institute has tied up with leading MRO organization to ensure our students get the best on-the-job experience. Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy offers private hostel nearby the campus. The Hostel has pulled to form life-long friendship and remain small enough so that all students are known individually. The hostel are clean and well maintained. They are trained, enthusiastic, motivated and committed to care for young people, extending the Hostel's theme of 'Preparation of life!' their Hostel runs comprehensive proficiency programmes and they take great care in supporting all of our students' talents. The hostel fees will range from INR 8,000 per month.
Our library has a vast collection of aviation books, training manuals, magazines, periodicals and DVDs. We also have charter flight and cargo operations. We have the right set of facilities and tools required to give you a professional advantage and your career a flying start.
The academy has excellent infrastructure for imparting specialized training in the field of aviation. We are one of the largest aviation academies in the Country with a fleet of world renowned Cessna 152, C-172 and glass cockpit Cessna 172 aircraft. We also have Twin Engine P-68 C aircraft.

One has to be fit enough to get the placement, so one must fulfil the requirements that the employer has laid down. At Rajiv Gandhi aviation academy a student is given coaching in soft skills and aptitude and personality development so that he/she is better prepared to face the interviews conducted by the placement companies.
