This is an Undergraduate degree program integrated with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course (B1.1, B1.3 & B2) as per UGC guidelines. The course is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Duration of the courses
- AME B1.1: Duration of the course is 3 years, which comprises 6 semester, duration of each semester is 6 Months

- B.Sc. Aviation: As per National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 the duration of Undergraduate courses are 3 or 4 years. 3 years duration course will get regular degree with 132 credits and 4 years duration course will get honors degree with 176 credits.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates shall have passed minimum 10+2 class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- DTE approved diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics/ Aeronautical Engineering.
- Physical fitness and Colour vision Certificates are mandatory as format prescribed in the college prospectus.

Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) + B.Sc. Aviation
The Ground Classes for CPL and B.Sc. Aviation program are conducted at the Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering, while the Flying Training is carried out at Aviation Junction Flying School in South Africa.
Aviation Junction Flying School, based in South Africa, is a premier international Pilot Training Academy recognized for its excellence in aviation education and hands-on flight training.
Duration: The duration of the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) course is 16 months, which includes 4 months of ground classes at Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering and 12 months of flying training at Aviation Junction Flying School in South Africa.
B.Sc. Aviation is a 3 year program, So the total duration of CPL+ BSC is 4 years in which a candidate get bsc degree along with a cpl license.

General Terms & Conditions
- Training will be conducted on aircraft approved by DGCA.
- Accommodation, transportation, club membership, and pilot excess insurance are included in the package for the initial 12 months. Students are required to reside in school-provided accommodation for the entire duration of the course.Any extension beyond this period will be charged to the student at ZAR 9,000 per month.
- The package covers the cost of written examinations and flight test fees for the first attempt only. Any additional attempts will be charged to the student as per prevailing CAA/or school rates.
- Pilot excess insurance is included for 12 months (11 months Single Engine and 1 month Multi Engine).
- In the event of visa expiration, all renewal costs shall be borne entirely by the student.
- If a student exceeds the 200-hour allocation included in the package, additional hours will be charged accordingly. All additional flying hours will be charged at the current aircraft rental rates as published by the school at the time of training.
- Any increase in Multi-Engine flying hours beyond the package will be charged at the standard Multi-Engine aircraft rates.
- A pilot kit, including uniform and study materials, will be provided at the start of the course. (Students must bring 2 white pilot shirts and 2 pairs of formal black trousers with proper fitting.)
- Students are required to have their own aviation headset (The cost of the headset is not included in the package.)
- Ground school is mandatory for both PPL AND CPL in accordance with the latest SACAA regulations.
- Any costs not explicitly mentioned in this quotation that arise during training will be payable by the student.
- All bank charges incurred during fee transfers shall be borne by the student as per applicable bank rates.
- The academy shall not be held responsible for any variations arising from foreign exchange fluctuations.
- During hour building, if refueling is conducted at an airfield where fuel prices exceed those at the home base, the student shall bear the difference in cost.
- To secure admission, students must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ZAR 25,000, which forms part of the total course fee.
- All prices stated are subject to change based on fuel price variations and inflation. Students will be notified in advance of any changes.
- A final closing balance will be issued at course completion, including all additional costs. All outstanding dues must be settled in full, failing which the school reserves the right to withhold the student’s license and documents until payment is made.
- Meals are included in the package. It will be Tiffin service (lunch& dinner), 6 days per week, for 12 months.
