The maintenance of modern sophisticated aircrafts calls for a high degree of technical knowledge, competence, proficiency & integrity on the part of the concerned personnel. This is an Undergraduate degree program integrated with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course (B1.1, B1.3 & B2) as per UGC guidelines. The course is affiliated under ordinance 125 of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

It is the combined course of AME B1.1 and B Sc (Aviation). AME is approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India and B.Sc. (Aviation) is Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Both the course runs in parallel and the syllabus also remains 80% the same. The students can apply various roles in airline like airline management, airport operations, aviation safety and security, air traffic control, aviation technology development, aviation consulting, and regulatory agencies. They may work for airlines, airports, aviation authorities, aerospace companies, government agencies, or other aviation-related organizations. The students can also pursue higher education from PG courses like M.Sc./MBA Aviation to Ph.D.

Duration of the courses
- AME B1.1: Duration of the course is 3 years, which comprises 6 semester, duration of each semester is 6 Months
- AME B1.3: Duration of the course is 3 years, which comprises 6 semester, duration of each semester is 6 Months
- AME B2: Duration of the course is 3 years, which comprises 6 semester, duration of each semester is 6 Months
- B.Sc. Aviation: As per National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 the duration of Undergraduate courses are 3 or 4 years. 3 years duration course will get regular degree with 132 credits and 4 years duration course will get honors degree with 176 credits.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates shall have passed minimum 10+2 class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- DTE approved diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics/ Aeronautical Engineering.
- Physical fitness and Colour vision Certificates are mandatory as format prescribed in the college prospectus.
