40 years ago, when Aviation Engineering courses were not heard in India, the IIA Group of Institutions pioneered a course for those who aspired to work on aircraft.
IIA Group of institutions is approved by European Aviation Safety Agency to conduct Part 66 aircraft maintenance training in Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) at its campus based in New Delhi. Our EASA Part 147 approved organization bears the approval number EASA.147, which is issued on its parent organization name ‘Takniki Vikas Sansthan‘. The EASA approved courses are the most recognized and have the repute for acceptance worldwide when it comes to the aircraft fitness certification training. The aspiring candidates who undertake these EASA approved courses are the most sought after technocrats in the aviation industry.
There is Mechanical and Avionics equipped with modern electronic devices & well stocked Library in its 25000 Sq. ft area.
The 5000 sq. ft. hanger is the most attractive feature of the Institute which accommodates LearJet 24, Helicopter EC-120B, Bonanza A35.

The IIA group having the apex Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Colleges in Delhi also offers the EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License Training Program approved by the parliament of the European Union. The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the aviation regulatory authority of the European Union that sets the guidelines for aircraft design, development, safety and maintenance. The curriculum of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course is divided in multiple modules also known as subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Systems, Basic Electronics, Digital Techniques in Aircraft Instrumentation & Systems, Materials & Hardware, Basic Aerodynamics, Jet Engine Construction & Systems, Maintenance Practices, Propellers, Civil Aviation Regulations and Human Factors that are associated with the standard aircraft maintenance practices and are as per the laid syllabus as stated in the EASA Part 66 regulations.
After successfully completing 2 years of Basic Training at Part 147 (Aircraft Maintenance Training Organization) & 2 years of practical maintenance experience on an operating aircraft in a Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Organisation), a student is granted EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) without Type Rating to maintain & certify fitness of an aircraft. For the Actual Maintenance Experience requirement for its enrolled candidates IIA facilitated and entered into practical training arrangements with leading & reputed EASA Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Organisations (AMO) in India & Europe to enable the student to acquire EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License.

B1.1:- Among the various EASA Part 66 Aviation Courses, the IIA Group offers Aircraft Maintenance Training in Category B1.1, i.e Aeroplane Turbine that corresponds to the Mechanical aspects of aircraft maintenance training. It involves major maintenance with adoption of troubleshooting and repair of aeroplanes with jet engine procedures as per manuals provided by the aircraft manufacturers.

Indamer Aviation Private Limited is one of the leading Business and Corporate Aviation Organizations in India. Founded in 1939 and was registered under the Companies Act in 1947, Indamer is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation under Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR 145) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO). The Placement Cell organizes career guidance programmes for all the students.
